The history of this church dates back to the creation of the Adamville neighborhood at the end of the nineteenth century. It was enlarged in 1907. Collaterals were added in 1918 according to Guillemot's plans, then a bell tower in 1925. It is one of the three starting points of the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Miracles. Source

The architect was Charles Edmond Albrizio. The style chosen is Romano-Byzantine. The original plan called for a longer church, but lack of money led to the work being halted in 1894. The opening of a chapel took place in 1896. In 1907, Notre-Dame-du- Rosaire became a parish church. It was not until 1925 that new work was undertaken. Two additional arcades (instead of three planned by Albrizio) are added. In 1927, the bell was christened, as well as the blessing of the new bays and vaults. In 1990, a major renovation work on the interior of the building was carried out. The Hammer organ, blessed in November 2009, was inaugurated on January 10, 2011. In 2013, two new bells were installed in place of the old defective bell.
