In 2004, the Association des Amis de l'Orgue de Saint-
Jacques made a contract with the Manufacture d'Orgues
Bernard Aubertin for the construction of a new organ in
the Eglise Saint-Jacques. This organ was built in April
2006. It includes 30 stops spread over 3 manual
keyboards and pedalboard. This organ is of classical
aesthetics with a "French classical" trend. In his
composition, there are elements that make it possible to
interpret a large part of german and French music of the
17th and 18th centuries. Its design also allows an
opening to contemporary music.

Inaugurated in 1937, the church of Saint-Jacques-Le-
Majeur is a brick building with sober and modern
lines. The decoration of the façade is limited to the
cross and the monogram IHS (for Jesus savior of
men).
Between 1938 and 1962, the date of the solemn
consecration, the church expanded : to the primitive
nave were added the presbytery, two aisles, and in
the basement the lower chapel of Saint-Philippe and
four meeting rooms.
Inside, the vault is made of boat hull with an exposed
frame. All the lines of the architecture lead the eye to
the altar which is illuminated by the "Transfiguration",
fresco made by the painters Ambroselli and Poupart.
