The organ of the church of Sainte-Geneviève in Asnières-
sur-Seine was built in 1893 by organbuilders John and
Eugène Abbey.
In 1931, the organ was moved, after the church was
enlarged.
It was electrified in 1961 and very slightly modified to suit
modern tastes, by the organbuilder Jean Hermann. A
Plein-jeu then replaces the Bourdon 16' of the GO which
is placed at the Pedal and extended to the 8'; in the Récit,
a Nazard replaces the Voix-humaine.
By 1994, the organ had become almost silent. An
overhaul, taken care of by the parish, was carried out by
Jean-Marc Cicchéro, with modification of the Plein-jeu,
addition of a Tierce to complete the Nazard, extension of
the Pedal to the 4' Flute.
The works that could not be carried out in 1994 became
urgent and the organ deteriorated rapidly in the 2010s.
In 2019, an expansion and restoration project was carried
out by the organ factory of Saverio Girotto.

The presence of a church dedicated to Saint Geneviève
has been attested for several centuries. A building is
mentioned for the first time in 1158. This building, or
another, was consecrated in 1541. It was rebuilt between
1703 and 1711. In 1930, it was enlarged by the
construction of an additional bay, the setback of the
façade, and the addition of two side aisles.
