Louis-le-Grand1 High School is a French public secondary and higher education institution. Its origin dates back to the 17th century, since it was founded in 1550 as a Jesuit college in the Parisian hotel of Guillaume du Prat, bishop of Clermont (hence its original name: Clermont College). It was rebuilt from 1885 to 1888.It saw three presidents and nine prime ministers of the Fifth Republic pass by on his benches. Students at Louis-le-Grand High School are often referred to as "Magnoludovicians," and the school is commonly referred to as LLG.
