Chapelle Notre-Dame-

des-Anges

102bis, rue de Vaugirard, 75006 Paris
In 1863, the Marist Fathers had the Notre-Dame- des-Anges chapel built on Rue de Vaugirard. This example of Neo-Gothic architecture, designed by Father Gally, features 37 narrative stained-glass windows dedicated to the Virgin, created by Joseph Vigné. Since September 2014, the chapel has been served by the presence of Assumptionist religious.
C1 This 11-stop organ from 1867 is a typical example of the small instruments built by Merklin at that time. The Swell has no own stops. The Fourniture of the GO corresponds with two stops on the Récit: Quinte 2 2/3 and Doublette. Apart from two maintenance works by Convers and P.M. Koenig at the beginning of the 20th century, the instrument remained totally authentic. In 1976, Philippe Guilmard carried out a restoration.
1867 - Merklin (1) 1976 - Guilmard (5)

II/18 (11) - mechanical traction
