Chapelle de l’Ecole
Saint Michel de Picpus
47, rue de Picpus , 75012 Paris
1880 - Stoltz
I/4 - mechanical traction
Clavier (56 notes)
Flûte 8’ ( Basses & Dessus, coupure entre Mi3/Fa3)
Bourdon 8’ (Basses & Dessus)
Prestant 4’ (Basses & Dessus)
Basson-hautbois 8’ (Basses & Dessus)
Pédalier
en tirasse (13 notes)
It is a small accompaniment instrument built around 1880
by the Stoltz brothers. The instrument is entirely expressive and
the expression is done by a notched spoon.
The buffet, lined with 3 flats with fake pipes, is actually used
to hide the expressive box that contains the entire organ.
There is no organ anymore at the chapel since years.
It’s unknown what has happened with the organ.
